Notes for using a Sri Lanka SIM card

• The usage period of the travel SIM card for Sri Lanka starts counting from the day it is successfully activated.
• A day of SIM usage is counted from the moment of successful installation until 23:59. For example, if you successfully install the SIM at 21:00, it will still be counted as one day of usage until 23:59 the same day.
• You should only insert the SIM card after arriving in Sri Lanka. If you insert the SIM card while still in your country, it will activate and start counting the usage days.
• To ensure the SIM card works appropriately, it is recommended that you keep the “Data Roaming” function enabled throughout your trip (this depends on the specific country).
• Each order includes a detailed User Guide for each product type. Please read the User Guide carefully and follow the steps.
• If you encounter difficulties during the installation and activation, please contact SIM2GO immediately via hotline +855 717105106 (Telegram/WhatsApp) for timely assistance!

Reasons to buy a Sri Lanka SIM card before you go

When you arrive in Sri Lanka, you can find travel SIM cards from local carriers at the airport or convenience stores. However, this can be inconvenient due to language barriers and unfamiliarity with the area. More importantly, buying and registering a SIM card for tourists is often time-consuming and requires you to present your passport. Therefore, purchasing a Sri Lanka SIM card beforehand is the most convenient solution because:

• You will have a SIM card ready to use as soon as you land at the airport, without having to queue to buy a SIM card, saving time and avoiding fatigue.
• It saves over 90% compared to the cost of international roaming packages from your country’s carriers.
• Easy installation with a detailed and easy-to-understand User Guide included with the SIM card. The SIM activates automatically; you do not need to register the SIM with your passport.
