Instructions for using a Japan SIM card

Step 1: Insert the SIM card into SIM slot 1 (in case your device supports dual SIMs). Before inserting the SIM card into slot 1, remove the SIM card from slot 2 and reinsert it after successfully activating SIM slot 1.

Step 2: Turn on Mobile Data and enable Data Roaming.

Notes for using a Japan SIM card

The usage period of the travel SIM card for Japan starts counting from the day it is successfully activated.
A day of SIM usage is counted from the moment of successful installation until 23:59. For example, if you successfully install the SIM at 21:00, it will still be counted as one day of usage until 23:59 the same day.
You should only insert the SIM card after arriving in Japan. If you insert the SIM card while still in your country, it will activate and start counting the usage days.
To ensure the SIM card works appropriately, it is recommended that you keep the “Data Roaming” function enabled throughout your trip (this depends on the specific country).
